PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location information management system, a mobile terminal, and a map display method which enable a plurality of users to share added or corrected latest information and enable each user to acquire only the latest information which the user desires, by adding or correcting the map information as a base in a mobile information terminal and unitarily managing the added or corrected information (additional information) in a database terminal. SOLUTION: The location information management system has a mobile information terminal 1 capable of displaying at least a part of the map information and the position information showing the present location of the terminal 1 itself and the database terminal for managing the additional information which is generated in the mobile information terminal 1 and consists of the information to add to or to correct the map information.
