PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool position switching device of a simple structure, capable of easily changing a position of a tool to a position corresponding to a model when the model of work is changed. SOLUTION: An X-axis direction rail 27 is provided on a work supporting stand 11, and an X-axis direction sliding element 28 is slidably supported on the X-axis direction rail 27. A Y-axis direction rail 29 is provided on the X-axis direction sliding element 28, and a Y-axis direction sliding element 30 is slidably supported on the Y-axis direction rail 29. A nut runner 35 as a toll is connected to the Y-axis direction sliding element 30. An arm 42 attached with a tool position switching plunger 43 at a tip end is fixed on the Y-axis direction sliding element 30. On the work supporting stand 11, a tool positioning plate 38 formed with a plurality of positioning holes 38a to 38c corresponding to the model of the work is attached. Therefore, a pin 44 of the tool position switching plunger 43 is fitted in selected either one of the positioning holes 38a to 38c, thereby positioning the nut runner 35. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
