PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor outside of the automobile at parking by using a video camera component placed inside the vehicle. SOLUTION: When an engine key is inserted (step S21), a transmission gear is in a back position (step S22), a back monitor process is performed (step S23), and when the engine key is removed, a monitor mode process is performed (step S24). In the back monitor process, a video camera is started and a video signal is sent to a reception and display device that is placed inside the vehicle and at the same time, voice based on distance information that is obtained by a distance sensor of a trigger sensor component is sent to the reception and display device. In the monitor mode process, the video camera is started when there is a change in the distance information that is obtained by the distance sensor of the trigger sensor component, and the video signal is sent to the reception and display device that is inside a building and at the same time, a pan/tilter is turned to the direction of a moving object.
