PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure roller for transfer, a transfer device and an image recording apparatus whereby a transferability protecting layer of an image protecting film can be adhered with a good adhesion to an inkjet image formed on a minutely rough face with dents and bumps without causing mixture of bubbles and flattening of the minutely rough face, so that a recording object with a high image quality, a high gloss and a superior preservability can be provided while the original touch and texture of the recording object are made the best use of. SOLUTION: The pressure roller for transfer 221 has a cylindrical roller body 221a, and an elastic layer 221b which coats a surface of the roller body 221a and comes into contact with the image protecting film at the time of pressing. The hardness of an elastic body for forming the elastic layer 221b is not smaller than HA40 degrees by the measuring method specified by JIS-K6253. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
