PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine in which uploading of received information onto a memory card can be specified for a receiver from a transmitter. SOLUTION: When transmission of JPEG encoded information on a color space sYCC is specified from the transmitter, the facsimile machine communicable of color image information stores the received information in the memory card 30 set at a card interface 28 if the received information can be stored therein.
