PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good-looking switch cover of an electronic appliance by avoiding projecting of a switch cover from the surface of a casing. SOLUTION: A space for fitting the switch cover 8 to the rear surface of the operation opening part 5a of a cover 5 is formed with a spacer 9 and a panel 10. The spacer 9 is a plate having a thickness thicker than the switch cover 8 and has an opening part 9a of nearly the same shape as the operation opening part 5a of the cover 5. At both of the ends of two opposing edges of the opening part 9a, fitting recesses 9b are formed. The panel 10 has window holes 10a for making a switch 6, an LED 7, etc. face outside. Welding bolts 5c vertically provided on the rear surface of the cover 5 are put through the spacer 9 and the panel 10, which are screwed and fixed with nuts 11. The switch cover 8 is formed of synthetic resin in a shape of being fitted to the spacer 9 and deformed elastically to attachably and detachably fit the fitting projection parts 8b of the switch cover 8 to the fitting recesses 9b of the spacer 9.
