EJECTION LOCKING MECHANISM OF OPTICAL DISK UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent impact force from being concentrated to a coupling section for coupling a main unit and a disk tray and from breaking the coupling section when the impact is applied to an optical disk unit. SOLUTION: A hooked section of a locking arm arranged rotatably around a boss disposed at the disk tray is engaged with a rib disposed at the main unit to lock the disk tray to the interior of the main unit. The locking arm is rotated interlocked with a lead screw for moving an optical pickup in a radial direction of the disk to release the coupling between the main unit and the tray. A bearing into which the boss is inserted is formed as an oval hole bearing and an elastic member acting to obstruct the movement of the disk tray when such external force as to take the disk tray out of the main unit acts on the disk tray in a state in which the disk tray is locked to the main unit is disposed between the disk tray and the locking arm.
