PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap structure of a simple structure allowing the cap to be installed even when large spaces cannot be secured the upper and lower portions of a mold for the reason of designing and not allowing the cap to be easily fallen even if the unexpected external force of a car washing machine acts thereon in the cap structure which closes an opening formed to install a carrier on the mold fitted to a roof panel. SOLUTION: In a cap, a recessed cutout is formed in the opening shape of the mold, an insert part inserted into the opening is formed at the lower part of a cover covering the opening from the upper side, and a projected piece matching the recessed shaped cutout shape of the opening is formed at the insert part. When the insert part is inserted into the opening and slides in a direction along the surface of a roof molding to hold the edge of the opening of the roof molding by the cover and a projected piece. A projected part is formed at the rear of the cover and on the outer side of the insert part in the sliding direction, and the height of the projected part from the rear surface of the cover is formed lower than the thickness of a soft resin material forming the upper surface layer of the roof molding.
