EXHAUST STRUCTURE FOR SMALL VESSEL AND SMALL-SIZED COASTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust structure for a small vessel capable of reducing the exhaust noise particularly when the engine is in low-speed rotation and provide a small-sized coaster equipped with such an exhaust structure. SOLUTION: The exhaust structure for small vessel includes a third exhaust pipe 50a through which the sixth compartment 66 of a second chamber 42 formed downstream in exhaustion is in communication to outside the vessel, wherein the end 51a of the third exhaust pipe 50a is opened facing down and positioned apart over from the inner bottom surface of the sixth compartment 66 for a distance in which the capacity and the exhaust pressure of the sixth compartment 66 below the end 51a are taken into consideration. Concretely the distance D of the end 51a over the inner bottom surface of the second chamber 42 meets the condition that d/3≤D≤d. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
