PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a piece type tire mold capable of producing a tire mold of high dimensional accuracy and forming fine clearances for assuring a non-spew property by producing the pieces even of a tire mold requiring the pieces of intricate shapes with good accuracy. SOLUTION: In producing the pieces 15 used for sector molds of the piece type tire mold, a foundation piece 15A formed with a tire tread profile is first produced and a pattern piece 15B having the shape corresponding to the tire tread shape of a rib section 15P, blade 15Q, etc., is cast under low pressure by using a gypsum mold being a collapsible mold.
