PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope system in which a noise that occurs when operating a motor-driven focusing mechanism is not superposed on an output signal of an imaging circuit system. SOLUTION: In the electronic endoscope apparatus provided with: an optical imaging system; the motor-driven focusing mechanism for adjusting a focal state of the optical imaging system; and an imaging circuit system for imaging an image formed by the optical imaging system, a power source of the imaging circuit system and a power source of the motor-driven focusing mechanism are made independent of each other.
