The invention relates to inner lighting which comprises a light source (9) and is housed in a sun protection screen or a roof console of a motor vehicle. The light source (9) can be used to illuminate only a relatively small area of the motor vehicle. In order to achieve an optimum lighting effect inside the motor vehicle, the light source (9) is provided on the rear side of at least one of the front seats (3) of the motor vehicle. The inventive inner lighting (9) is provided for motor vehicles and can be used to illuminate the area behind the front seat (3). |
