A conveyor, used in an industrial oven during the manufacture of nonwoven material, such as fibre glass mat, is made from high temperature resistant polymeric material such as PPS or PEEK. The conveyor may be woven or it may have a spiral link construction, comprising a multiplicity of helical coils joined in side-by-side disposition by respective hinge areas engaged within the interdigitated turns thereof.
