The invention relates to a smoke filtering means for eliminating tobacco smoke, having the following essential features. The case of the smoke filtering means (1) is provided in the form of a practical housing (2). The upper part of the housing (2) is provided with a receiving opening (4) for inserting a cigarette or cigar (3) and with an opening (5) for blowing in smoke. The lower part of the housing (2) is provided with an ash collecting space (8b), which is delimited by a bottom plate (8) that can be released. The front side and/or rear side of the housing (2) are/is provided with openings for drawing in air that are delimited by an outer screen (6). The interior of the housing (2) is designed as a burning space (7) required for burning the cigarette or cigar located therein. Exchangeable filtering material, i.e. activated charcoal (13, 16), to which tobacco smoke binds, and/or particulate filtering material (14) are/is placed between the walls of the burning space (7) of the housing (2). Another embodiment of the invention is designed so that it can be placed on pipes and has the following additional features. The smoke filtering means (40) has a filter cap (41a), which is fastened to the pipe bowl (41d), and has a filter tube (41b) that can be slid onto a pipe stem section (41c). One end of the filter tube (41b) is joined to the pipe bowl (41d) via a smoke guiding channel (49d), and the other free end of the filter tube (41b) is provided with an opening (47) for blowing in smoke, and an opening for drawing in air is provided inside said opening (47) for blowing in smoke. The invention also relates to a smoke filtering means provided with a built-in lighter. |
