CAPSTAN MOTOR ASSEMBLY OF MAGNETIC RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A capstan motor assembly of a magnetic recording/reproducing device is provided to dispose an oil inducing portion in a holder with a simple configuration, in order to prevent oil from being dispersed on an outer side of the holder, thereby preventing the oil from sticking to a magnetic tape even though the magnetic tape is contacted with the holder. CONSTITUTION: A capstan motor(40) is installed on a main deck(10). A holder(50) is installed on the main deck(10), and supports a shaft(41) of the capstan motor(40). An oil inducing portion is disposed in the holder(50). The capstan motor(40) consists of the shaft(41) standing straight on the main deck(10), and a driving portion for driving a rotation of the shaft(41). The driving portion consists of a motor frame supported on the main deck(10), a stator, and a rotor. The shaft(41) guides a running of a magnetic tape as being rotating by the driving portion at high speed.
