摘要 Chocolates (2) are wrapped individually by a method that involves feeding single wrapping sheets (11) along a first path (P1) in a first direction (F1) spaced at a selected pitch (P), in such a way that the trailing edge (11a) of one wrapping sheet and the leading edge (11b) of the next are distanced one from another, and at the same time feeding a continuous ribbon (21) in a second direction (F2) along a second path (P2) that merges with the first path (P1) at an assembling station (22) where the ribbon (21) is stably united with the sheets (11); the assembly of ribbon and sheet then advances in a third direction (F3), along which the ribbon (21) is divided into discrete slivers (25) by repeated cuts (T), each made between the trailing edge (11a) of one sheet (11) and the leading edge (11b) of the next and at a distance such that each sliver (25) will present a portion (25a) projecting from the trailing edge (11a) of the wrapping sheet to which it is attached. <IMAGE>
