<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the lateral shake of an image during intermittent slow reproduction than before in a magnetic recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: In the intermittent slow reproduction circuit which reads a video signal from a magnetic tape by using a magnetic head attached to a rotary head drum, while alternately supplying a starting pulse and a braking pulse to a capstan motor 2 to intermittently drive the magnetic tape, a microcomputer 1 is provided with a drum motor control means 15 to generate a voltage control signal for driving the rotary head drum at prescribed rotational speed, and a drum motor control PWM(pulse width modulation) output means 16 to generate a PWM signal with a pulse width according to a voltage control signal obtained from the drum motor control means. The drum motor control means 15 adds an accelerating correction value according to the size of the control signal to the voltage control signal generated during the stop of the magnetic tape when the capstan motor 2 starts, and generates an accelerating voltage control signal.</p> |
