<p>PURPOSE:To provide the system in which various decoding processing units make decoding by improving an existing MPEG. CONSTITUTION:The restriction of a buffering delay time 1sec specified in an existing MPEG is relaxed, and a buffering delay allowable time stipulated based on a bit stream rate of an inputted video signal and a buffering processing time is used. A bit stream inputted to a decoding processing unit (decoder) 60 is added with a time stamp used to make synchronization with a video signal and an audio signal fro each packet as to compressed video signal and audio signal and received continuously. A capacity of a video signal use time stamp buffer 72 is a capacity depending on a bit stream rate of a video signal and a buffering delay allowable time. Since the recording quantity of the time stamp is more than the recording quantity of the video signal, the synchronization is recovered even when a video signal is missing for a long time.</p> |
