An electric heater comprises a heater plate 2, a sheathed heating element 18 attached to the plate and a locating member 4 also attached to said heater plate 2, wherein co-operating locating features 8a,20 are provided on said locating member 4 and said element 18 to provide alignment between the element 18 and locating member 4.
