1,245,140. Suspending curtains. G. KLEIN. Dec.31, 1968 [Jan.5, 1968], No.61938/68. Heading A4B. A curtain rail 5 receives at each end a hollow terminal part 1 and the parts 1 slidably receive members 17, 18 respectively, one member 17 supporting a pair of pulleys 19 for guiding an actuating cord 14 and the other 18 carrying a return guide pulley 20. The rail 5 is of inverted-U section with its flanges 6, 8 bent inwardly, as at 95 and 7, to define channels 43 to guide the cord 14. The channels 43 slidably receive U-section bars 2 projecting from the inner end of the terminal part 1. Further, block-like projections 3 straddle an inverted-T section flange 4 extending longitudinally within the rail 5. The members 17, 18 each have an apertured lug (31, 30), Fig.2 (not shown) to which end supports of the curtain may be anchored. An inverted-T section groove 9 in the top of the terminal parts 1 aligns with a similar groove 10 in the top of the rail 5 to receive means for supporting the assembly. |
