PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for correcting a clock of a digital wireless repeater are provided to correct a change in a modulation frequency at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A clock extracting unit(112) extracts clock information from a received satellite signal. A signal generator(114) generates a reference signal having a certain period based on synchronization information extracted from the clock extracting unit(112). A transmission clock counting unit(120) counts clocks generated from an OCXO(Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator) and outputs a count value to a correcting unit(130) according to a period of the reference signal inputted from a reference signal generating unit(110). The correcting unit(130) subtracts the number of reference clocks calculated by the number of times of receiving the count value from the transmission clock counting unit(120) during a corresponding period from a value obtained by accumulating the count values received from the transmission clock counting unit(120) for a certain period, to calculate a difference value.
