PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a biased color balance without adjusting a hardware, by performing a color conversion to color image data on the basis of predetermined color correction data generated before a first image is output so that a deviation of output characteristics for element colors at an image output apparatus is negated. SOLUTION: A color image is decomposed in color to predetermined element colors and expressed in intensity, thereby forming color image data. An image output apparatus 30 outputs an image for every element color on the basis of the color image data, whereby a color image is output. A color correction means of a color-correcting apparatus 20 carries out color conversion to the color image data on the basis of predetermined color correction data so as to negate a deviation of output characteristics for element colors at the image output apparatus 30. The color correction data required for the color conversion by the color correction means are generated before a first image is output. A color of the image output bias due to characteristics of the image output apparatus 30 is corrected beforehand in expectation of the bias, and therefore the image is reproduced in a faithful color to that of an original color image. |
