Hardenable dental material

Dental composition for hardening on an acid-treated tooth surface is prepared from a two-part system comprising a peroxide component and an amine component comprising radically polymerizable monomers, a radical initiator and/or coinitiator, conventional additives and a finely divided strongly basic anion exchanger in hydroxide form. An independent claim is also included for producing the dental composition by drying the anion exchanger to a water content below 10%, comminuting the anion exchanger and adding the other components.
