An antenna circuit for improving the radiation efficiency of a transmitter is proposed. The antenna circuit has a first antenna branch with a first antenna (2) for emitting a transmission signal provided by a power amplifier (4) of the transmitter. The part of the transmission signal power which is reflected at the first antenna branch is redirected by a first redirection means (5) to a second antenna branch where it is emitted by a second antenna (3) attached to it. <IMAGE>
