The turboprop power plant with a jet engine has two propellers (2,3) axially offset on the propeller hub (1) and rotating in the same direction. The forward propeller (2) is offset in the circumferential direction in relation to the aft propeller. The forward and aft propellers have the same number of propeller blades, with the blades of both propellers adjustable. The propeller hub is provided with a ring-form boundary layer control intake (4) between the two propellers.
