The device has a rotor packet with several magnets attached to rotate with a shaft, whereby a cover plate (8) is mounted on at least one end of the rotor packet so as to cover it. An axial bearing (10) for the rotor (1) is integrated into the cover plate. The cover plate with bearing is mounted in a casing (6) enclosing the rotor packet and protruding beyond the packet on at least one side. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of manufacturing a rotor and an electric machine, especially an electric motor for a slotted tube pump. |
