The console (10) has a compartment accessible by a user through an orifice. The console is movable between front and back position by a guiding unit. A closure component has a sun shade to follow a curve-lined segment. A part of the orifice provides a frontal portion that stretches towards a base in a frontal region of the console. The orifice is accessible by a user of a front seat (3) in the frontal position. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with a console.
