PURPOSE: A composition including a microorganism obtained by culturing lactic acid bacteria and yeast effective in inhibiting aging and prevention and treatment of adult disease related with lipid metabolism is provided. It exhibits better lipid metabolism-improving effect than vegetable lactic acid bacteria drinks available on the market. CONSTITUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of adult disease contains a microorganism and a nutritionally acceptable food supplementary additive. The microorganism is prepared by culturing lactic acid bacteria or yeast in a medium of soybean refuse(Beeji), glutinous rice or rice bran. The lactic acid bacteria are Lactobacillus fermentum, the yeast is Pichia kluyveri. The adult disease is hypertension, coronary artery disease, fatty liver and liver damage, arteriosclerosis, complications caused by arteriosclerosis, myocardial infarction, obesity, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis, climacteric disturbance, osteoarthritis and cerebral apoplexy. |
