The exchanger has two sets of medium through-flow channels (P, S) divided by walls (2) through which two media flow in a heat- exchanging contact. Heat conducting fins (3-8) are arranged on both sides of each wall such that they are in thermal contact with each other. The wall and the fins act as membrane and heat transferring strips, respectively. The fins have contact surfaces joined to the wall. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger.
