FIELD: protection of documents from a fake. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of protection of documents from a fake using a protection sign as an image, that is formed by pinholes and appears in gray color at its sighting against a bright background. At that, at least, some of the pinholes making a part of the image should be placed at an angle to the principal plane of the document distinguished from 90 .
