FIELD: power engineering; power supply to low-power and distant users of towns and countryside and to elite cottages. ^ SUBSTANCE: substation is mounted in guides on power transmission line pole and is made in the form of movable frame with transformer, high-voltage movable and fixed contacts, and low-voltage movable and fixed ones. Additional facilities such as stop, lock, hoist, distribution board, and other pieces of equipment ensure reliable operation of substation in on-state and its safety in maintenance as repairs and maintenance operations are conducted upon lowering frame to pole foot, disconnection of contacts, and de-energizing of transformer and all pieces of substation equipment.
