PURPOSE: A gasket for electrical double layer battery is provided to prevent effectively the leakage of electrolyte without using an additional sealant by enhancing the thermal stability, the airtightness, and the flexibility. CONSTITUTION: A gasket for electrical double layer battery is arranged between a sidewall of a top metal case(3) and a sidewall of a bottom metal case(4) in order to prevent leakage of electrolyte. The gasket(8) for electrical double layer battery is formed by using a nylon resin. The nylon resin of the gasket is selected from nylon 66, nylon 621, nylon 6, and a nylon copolymer. The gasket for electrical double layer battery is formed by adding a glass fiber of 0.1 to 60 weight percent to the nylon resin. |
