PURPOSE: A device and method for reading and synchronizing video data and supplementary data and a product related to the device are provided to enable synchronized reading of the video data and supplementary data at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A synchronization device(1) includes a module(2) for inputting recorded data in a storage unit(15), and a module(3) for demultiplexing video data and supplementary data. The video data and supplementary data are respectively transmitted to a video read assembly(20) and a supplementary assembly(30). The synchronization device further includes an apprising module(4) for obtaining information about instants of communication of the video data from the video read assembly, and an adaptation module(5) designed to control the instants of communication according to the supplementary read assembly.
