PURPOSE: A hybrid capacitor is provided to increase low energy density of an electrochemical double layer capacitor by using a higher driving voltage than 4V. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid capacitor includes activated carbon as an activated material of a cathode(1), LIG(Lithium Intercalated Graphite) including lithium ions as an activated material of an anode(3), a separator(2), lithium salt, and non-aqueous organic solvent. The LIG including the lithium ions is fabricated by using a galvanostatic method and a potentiostatic method. The lithium salt is formed with LiPF6, LiBF4, LiClO4, Li(VF3SO2)2, LiCF3SO3, LiSbF6 or LiAsF6. The non-aqueous organic solvent is formed with ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, diethyl carbonate, acetone, acetonitrile, n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone or a mixture thereof. |
