LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve display characteristic of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes a display area(DA) for displaying images and a driving area(GDA) for providing driving signals for driving the display part. The driving area includes an array substrate(100), a color filter substrate(200), and a liquid crystal layer(300). The array substrate has a conductive layer(140) for electrically connecting the first conductive pattern(114) to the second conductive pattern(115) that is formed at a level different from the level at which the first conductive pattern is formed. The color filter substrate includes a color filter(220), a common electrode(240) formed on the color filter, and a protection member(260) that is formed on the common electrode and insulates the conductive layer from the common electrode. The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the array substrate and color filter substrate.
