PURPOSE: A power-saving dehumidifying operation method of a heating and cooling device is provided to reduce power for driving the heating and cooling device by optimizing the operation of a compressor of an outdoor unit correspondently to load of the outside. CONSTITUTION: A power-saving dehumidifying operation method of a heating and cooling device comprises steps of finding a humidity difference by sensing the indoor humidity via an indoor humidity sensor installed to the heating and cooling device and by comparing the indoor humidity with set humidity; setting up the rotational speed of an indoor unit fan according to the humidity difference of the indoor humidity and the set humidity; setting up the compressor frequency through a compressor drive algorithm according to the humidity difference of the indoor humidity and the set humidity; setting up the rotational speed of an outdoor unit fan through an outdoor fan drive algorithm according to the compressor frequency and the indoor humidity; and making the indoor dehumidifying of a comfort zone state and the indoor fixed temperature continuously maintained to make a user feel comfortable indoor surroundings by driving indoor/outdoor fans and compressors in which the rotational speed and the frequency are set.
