PURPOSE: Provided is a chlorine-containing resin composition to improve both heat stability and coloring prevention property by adding 2-mercaptobenzothiazole in combination with a benzotriazole-based compound to the chlorine-containing resin composition. CONSTITUTION: The stabilized chlorine-containing resin composition contains chlorine-containing resin; hydrotalcites represented by the following formula; β-diketones; and stabilizing additive containing (a) 0.0001 to 5.0 weight parts of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole represented by the following formula (2), and (b) 0.001 to 5.0 weight parts of benzotriazole-based compound based on 100 weight parts of the chlorine-containing resin represented by formula 1, (M¬2+)1-xAlx(OH)2(A¬n-)x/n¡ mH2O, where M¬2+ represents Mg or (Mg+Zn), and Mg>Zn provided that M¬2+ is (Mg+Zn), x is in a range of 0<x<0.5, A¬n- represent n valent anions, the anions include CO3¬2-, ClO4¬-, etc., and m is in a range of 0<=m<=1; and formula (2), formula (3), where R¬1, R¬2, R¬3 and R¬4 each independently represent hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, alkyl group or alkoxycarbonyl group.
