The container to hold and distribute biological fluids, for medical use, has a double pocket construction. The inner pocket (11) containing the fluid (15), with a pliable wall, is located within an outer pocket (12) with an inelastic and rigid wall. The outer container has two inflow openings (124,125). The interiors of each pocket are insulated against each other. The introduction of heated water (14) under pressure from the mains supply, or a compressed gas, into the outer pocket causes an equal volume of the fluid to be ejected from the inner pocket to the patient.
