GLOBAL IMAGE MOSAIC METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE: A global image mosaic method is provided to reduce accumulation of errors generated when homography between adjacent images is generated. CONSTITUTION: A method for mosaicking sequentially input images sets the initial image among the input images as a reference mosaic plane and obtain homography of the reference mosaic plane and each of the sequentially input images. The method sequentially combines the images on the reference mosaic plane. Accordingly, accumulation of errors generated when homography between adjacent images is created is reduced and a global image mosaic method suitable for real-time application is provided. Pairwise homography based on pairwise registration is provided to remarkably decrease accumulation of global errors.
