OPTICAL FIBER CONNECTION STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING FRONT ENDS OF TWO OPTICAL FIBERS TO EACH OTHER

PURPOSE: An optical fiber connection structure for connecting front ends of two optical fibers to each other is provided to prevent particles from front ends of the optical fibers by connecting simply the front ends of the optical fibers to each other. CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber connection structure includes a connecting structure between each front end of cores of two optical fibers(11,12) without fusing two optical fibers, each other. Each front end of the optical fibers including each front end of cores of the optical fibers is inserted into a sealing space. An inert gas or a predetermined transparent solution is injected into the sealing space. The predetermined transparent solution is analyzed by beams traveling the optical fibers. The inert gas includes oxygen of 1 ppm or more, a halogen gas, and/or a halogen compound gas.
