PURPOSE: A structure for preventing a defect of a picture image of a FED panel is provided to enhance the productivity by preventing the failure of the FED panel due to partial defects of elements in a fabrication process. CONSTITUTION: A structure for preventing a defect of a picture image of a FED panel includes a field emission device(102). The field emission device is matrix-addressed by a gate electrode(103) and a cathode electrode(104) in order to emit electrons from an emitter(101). The light is emitted from one pixel(100) by the collision between the electrons of the field emission device and a phosphor. Two or more field emission devices are installed at one pixel. The field emission devices are operated independently.
