PURPOSE: A washing method is provided to save detergents and reduce the consumption of water by washing the laundry without the detergents and to maximally prevent discoloration of the laundry by supplying operation time for each step not to wash the polluted laundry for so long time without the detergent. CONSTITUTION: A washing method is composed of steps for preliminarily washing the laundry to remove water-soluble pollutants; mainly washing the laundry to remove some of mineral and organic matters with gradually increasing the level of water after the preliminary washing; rinsing the laundry at the standard water level; and completely dewatering the perfectly rinsed laundry. The first step comprises steps for supplying the water to a first set water level to the amount of the laundry; agitating for a first set time by driving at least one of a washing inner tub or a pulsator within the set water level; and driving at least one of the washing inner tub or the pulsator for a second set time at a period shorter than a driving period for a normal agitation if the agitation is completed for the set time. |
