PURPOSE: A hip guard containing a body part comprising an inner fabric having permeation properties and an outer fabric having moisture permeation properties and waterproof properties is provided. It prevents absorption of moisture or water into the fabric when the wearer is seated on a rock for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: The hip guard comprises: a waistband part(3) containing a belt(7) disposed on the outside of the waistband part and a pair of buckles(8,9) disposed at the end thereof; a pair of buckles(11) disposed at a pair of outer thigh flaps(4) and a pair of buckles(10) disposed at a pair of inner thigh flaps(5); and a body part(1) having an air permeable inner fabric and an outer fabric(16) having moisture permeation properties and waterproof properties disposed on the outside of the inner fabric.
