PURPOSE: A method for converting a unicode of a source file of a mobile terminal is provided to convert a word or a character used for a source file into a unicode by the units of file. CONSTITUTION: An input file recorded in a specific language code together with an English annotation is prepared. The input file is designated and an output file is designated. Specific code words to be converted and English annotation words are inputted. Only when the inputted specific code words and English annotation words are identical in their number, the inputted specific code words and the English annotation words are classified by words and stored in a buffer, a temporary file is generated, a specific code is converted into a unicode and stored together with English annotation. A specific code having the same English annotation of the input file is substituted with the unicode corresponding to the English annotation recorded in the temporary file, which is repeatedly performed on every word recorded in the temporary file to generate an output file.
