PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of nanosized lead zirconate(PbZrO3) powder with high purity and low-temperature crystallization by homogeneous precipitation process using urea. CONSTITUTION: The nanosized lead zirconate powder is prepared by the following steps of:(i) mixing an aqueous solution of Pb-salt(PbNO3) and Zr-salt(ZrOCl2·8H2O) in a molar ratio of 1 : 1 with 18-28M(based on 1M of positive ions(Pb2+, Zr5+)) of an aqueous solution of oxidants, preventing formation of carbonates and lowering crystallization temperature, such as O3, H2O2, HClO4, HClO3 and (NH4)2S2O8, and then stirring and boiling the mixed solution at 50-100deg.C; (ii) adding urea to the solution of step(i) for forming precipitates due to the reaction of NH3 and CO2 gases with positive metal ions at 50-100deg.C and holding for 30-480min, wherein the molar ratio of positive ions in the aqueous solution and urea is 1:13 - 1:52; (iii) cooling, filtering and washing precipitates to get PbZrO3 precursors(gel); and (iv) drying and calcining precursors at 550-700deg.C for 10-600min. |
