<p>PURPOSE: A door lock system for vehicle door including a latch mechanism is provided to prevent water from entering into an actuator by covering the actuator with a plurality of members. CONSTITUTION: A door lock system includes a latch, an open unit, a lock unit, an actuator, and a housing. The latch mechanism(11) is engageable with or disengageable from a striker. The open unit transmits the opening operation force to the latch mechanism for disengaging the latch mechanism from the engagement with the striker. The lock unit(13) transmits the locking and unlocking operation force to the open unit in order to operate the open unit between an unlocking condition and a locking condition. The actuator is used for outputting the locking and unlocking operation forces. The housing is used for storing the latch mechanism, the open unit, the lock unit and the actuator as a unit. The housing(15) includes a case for storing at least the actuator therein.</p> |
