SOUND SOURCE DEVICE AND A VOICE SYNTHESIS DEVICE FOR SYNTHESIZING VOICES WITH HIGH QUALITY

PURPOSE: A sound source device and a voice synthesis device are provided to synthesize voices with high-quality reality by providing noise to a formant. CONSTITUTION: An address generator(21) accumulates phase data outputted from a phase data generator(20), and outputs a read address of a rate of a central frequency of a voiced formant or an unvoiced formant. Waveform data forming the voiced formant or the unvoiced formant are read from a waveform data storing unit(22) by the read address. A multiplier(23) multiplies the read waveform data by an envelop signal. An adder(25) adds noise to the waveform data forming the unvoiced formant. Voices are synthesized by synthesizing the voiced formants or the unvoiced formants outputted from a plurality of WT voice units(10).
