摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric module whose durability is improved by preventing a thermoelectric element from peeling off an insulating substrate or breaking by improving mechanical strength as a thermoelectric module which perform thermal conversion by using Peltier effect. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric element of the thermoelectric module 10 has electrodes 14a and 16b at specified position on both opposite surfaces of a lower insulating substrate 11 and an upper insulating substrate 12 which are arranged opposite to each other respectively, and the module 10 is composed of a lower-stage thermoelectric element 15 and an upper-stage thermoelectric element 17 by fixing an end surface of the thermoelectric element to the opposite electrodes 14a and 16b. Then a reinforcing plate 13 for reinforcement is arranged between the lower-stage thermoelectric element 15 and upper-stage thermoelectric element 17 across electrodes 14b and 16a. Further, the maximum temperature differenceΔTmax of the thermoelectric module 10 is set larger than the maximum temperature differenceΔTmax of thermoelectric modules 20 and 30.
