PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact image inspection apparatus constituted in such a manner that its cost is reduced by employing an apparatus configuration to utilize a finder freely attachable and detachable to and from a camera and that a photographic film and a film image can be easily inspected. SOLUTION: The image inspection apparatus is formed by attaching an underframe 14 to the waist level finder 20 and employing a configuration to determine the focal position of a magnifier lens 10c which the waist level finder 20 has by the underframe 14, and in addition, by attaching a film rail frame 15 to the underframe 14 and further attaching an illuminator 26 to the film rail frame 15.
