PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating sprayed body provided with lubricity which can be applied to various sliding members, and can reduce the cost of the whole sliding member, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: Fe based alloy powder comprising Fe as the main component, 3 to 6 wt.% C, 3 to 6 wt.% Si and 1 to 7 wt.% Al with inevitable impurities is thermally sprayed on the body to be thermal-sprayed by a thermal spraying method accompanied by high temperature heat history such as a plasma thermal spraying method, or the Fe based alloy powder is heat-treated within the temperature range of 800 to 1,000°C, and is thereafter thermally sprayed on the body to be thermal-sprayed, so that a sprayed coating in which graphite crystals having high lubricity are produced is formed on the surface of the body to be thermal-sprayed.
